Don’t forget the Thornton Community Centre is open Tuesday and Thursday mornings between 10am and 12pm. There is a Children’s and Adult’s Street Library out the front at these time and information stands with brochures and details about what is happening around the area.

Not sure what to do with your live Christmas tree? Council is holding a free Christmas tree drop off day on Sat 12 January. Bring your tree down to Jamison Park between 10am-2pm and we’ll take it away for free and turn it into compost to be used in local parks and gardens.
