Year 6 are absolutely loving Wicksteed Park today. A well deserved trip after their hard work this year. We are so proud of them.

Year 5 were exploring growth through microbes this week 🦠 After finding out about yeast, we wanted to see it in a action. As design technologists we were designing and baking prototypes today and watching yeast in action. Investigating and evaluating were our words to explore.

As design technologists, Year 3 and 4 were tasked to create mini greenhouses to support the growth of our plants and vegetables … do you think they will do the job?

Two experiments today showing the importance of washing our hands to remove unwanted microbes and to show how far that sneeze can spread. The glitter (microbes) are everywhere.

The gardening club has been hard at work the last two terms. We have colours, slugs and loads of squirrels but hopefully it has the opportunity to bloom over the half term break. Plenty of sun with a few showers please.
