I've been spending a lot of time in 2 Samuel lately. King David was known as a man after God's own heart. He also committed unimaginable sin in his time. But, God still delivered on every promise He made to David just as He will to you and I. We are never too broken for grace.

Of all of God's promises in His Word, this is one of the most comforting. He doesn't say when or where but He promises that if we resist, the enemy WILL give up.
