@Connor56262776@soonrightaway I mean - Black, Pacific Daydream and Teal were recieved very poorly. Van Weezer wasn't recieved the best either. And I don't think people really cared for the season eps. So you're left with only White, OK Human and Gold. More misses than hits really.
@Jjwolvie They've revealed themselves to be pretty light and friendly as far as company business go, but unfortunately still lacking in artistic merit with their movies.
But yeah, their stance against AI is admirable.
@Nah_Idlose69420 Yeah, the clips shown so far have been pretty bad (especially the trailer for the kickstarter), but it looks visually fun and has a premise with a lot of potential and up my alley, so I hope it ends up being good, rooting for it honestly
BCG is an interesting case scenario because most Disney shows of the last decade or so have been mainly popular with teens/adults and specific internet circles, yet Big City Greens is only really popular with children and families, which is why it's rarely talked about
Chris Houghton on being the longest Disney animated series currently airing. via Laughing Place
"Thank you. And first off, can I just say, take that Gummi Bears? We are so thrilled to be the longest running Disney series. It's amazing"

I actually want this to be good because an old fashioned episodic comedy about mundane antics of trying to pay your rent actually sounds fun, but everything I've seen from this, from marketing to the clips shown signal something more dire unfortunately
@mouthcamtrope@mariotwtconfess My point is, I don't think it's worth it to hold high expectations for a Mario movie just because the games are good. The art behind a good game is very different from a good movie. Miyamoto is good at game design, but it doesn't surprise me that he lacks on storytelling.
@JohnnyJockstar@mariotwtconfess I don't think anyone said it to the extent of it being the '06 of Mario' though, wouldn't even make sense because Mario is primarily a gaming franchise, not a film one.
@JohnnyJockstar@mariotwtconfess Can't relate. Big mario fan here, hated the movie. I would've liked it more if it actually functioned more as a movie and less as a shallow amusement park.
@censoredialogue I mean sure. It's not good, but it's one of the most... interesting. I would never forget songs like Boom Boom Pow or Imma Be, for better or worse (mostly worse)
