Thrilled to see @Zenith256 launch their new site! π They are awesome partners. And their wardens have been invaluable, helping us identify actionable improvements for our projects. π
Solidity functions can be hard to grasp, especially with all the different terms developers use to describe them. We have written a blog post that helps clarify the topic:

Similar to choices for visibility, security and gas optimization are important issues when thinking about types in solidity. Please read and let us know if you have any thoughts or feedback.
We haven't seen anyone lay out this information in a simple post so we put something together ourselves. In future posts, we will explain function types and modifiers.
Solidity functions can get confusing, especially with all the jargon developers use when describing them. Check out our post that helps clarify the topic:

In our deep dive on function visibility in solidity, we see that there are many situations to consider -- inheritance, security, and gas optimization are all important factors. We explain each keyword and give example use cases.
1/ Stablecoin AMMs have several important features that must be balanced in order to maintain optimal performance. We have written a blog post (https://t.co/VHlm07olcD) discussing new methods for creating such AMMs.
10/ However, in simulations where the AMM is not dynamically adjusted we see that prices leave the stable region and the trade-off for low slippage early on is high levels of slippage later. This suggests that adjusting the stable region over time could fix this issue.
1/ Impermanent loss can be tricky to understand, so we've written a blog post (https://t.co/yKD8SdPoyK) to help frame some of its important aspects geometrically.
9/ In our paper, we prove the following general result: An n dimensional AMM has the ERLI property if and only if it is (up to a reindexing of level surfaces) a Geometric Mean Market Maker.
