It's utterly farcical that the leading lobbyist for sheep farming in the UK has been chosen to chair the Dartmoor Land Use Management Group.
This has killed stone dead any credibility the group might have had in terms of setting the agenda for the future of nature on Dartmoor.

Best to read colonial history books other than Biggar's, which the last Royal Historical Society president compared to a 3rd class undergrad essay (reliance on discredited secondary sources, quoting out of context, misrepresenting sources, over-reliance on colonial records, overuse of journalistic articles). No need to weaponize history, just to study it with open minds, respecting the descendants of formerly colonised people. 2. During Britain's 4 colonial centuries, most people were denied the vote, so we weren't an advanced democracy at the time we supposedly introduced it 3. Britain also has a fine tradition of anti-colonial thought & action.
