Year3 had a great time at their Greek Pottery workshop with Wakefield Museum. They got to handle real artefacts from over 2000 years ago! The children worked as archaeologists to measure, draw and describe the pots and guess what they might have been used for. @CastlefordTrust
Reception continued exploring the abstract work of Wassily Kandinsky. We looked at more of his paintings, listened to music he enjoyed while he worked, and learned how he could hear colours and shapes in music. Inspired by this, we drew what we heard while listening to Mozart.

Our focus book this week in Reception is The Three Little Pigs. During outdoor learning, the children have been busy using their imagination and teamwork skills to design and build a house for the three little pigs. @CastlefordTrust#TLE#threelittlepigs
Yesterday, as part of the DT curriculum, 5 Osprey made some Egyptian flatbread. They weighed and measured the ingredients, knead and rolled the dough to create their own flatbread. The tasting, which included trying humous and sour cream dips, was also very successful! #TLE
