Owen Pavey

Off-grid dude,54,across England,Wales & NI for
Rugby League & Union,T20 Blast & T100 Cricket

[Owen Pavey @ThreeSportbmmg]

@MillineredMark @GtpFarming @The_Grumbler I promise to give inane pro-T20 Blast content as well 🤣 Still don't get it do you? Young fans watch both.

[Owen Pavey @ThreeSportbmmg]

Apparently...im back. The ECB bot! So let's get things going with...er....photos i took at Rugby League & Union games

[Owen Pavey @ThreeSportbmmg]

@MillineredMark @GtpFarming @The_Grumbler Ahhh yes. Reactivated...in September. That well known month when The Hundred is at it's peak 🤣🤣🤣

[Owen Pavey @ThreeSportbmmg]

@GtpFarming @The_Grumbler Mate. Stop it 🤣. Im covering 27 teams in 2027. 10 of which are T20 Blast home games because an 8 team Hundred just in the cities over 5 weeks with just 4 home games each isnt enough. What i wont be covering however is the Blast's reputation for a Friday evening drink-a-thon.

[Owen Pavey @ThreeSportbmmg]

@LTFC11 @The_Grumbler And there's nothing like offering free tickets for England test matches and people still wont turn up if there is less than 50% chance of a win 🤣

[Owen Pavey @ThreeSportbmmg]

@AdamSants_ Lol 🤣 550,000-an average of 16k per game for The Hundred, already do.

[Owen Pavey @ThreeSportbmmg]

@The_Grumbler Lol 🤣 next thing you'll be saying is you cant get into Surrey's County Championship games for free.

[Owen Pavey @ThreeSportbmmg]

@Joneschristoff Funny thing is,best seats in the house under the new pitch position is actually those in front of the pavillion. Okay so the new floodlight blocks the view a bit but with a touch of good weather maybe Ospreys should consider putting those seats in sale too

[Owen Pavey @ThreeSportbmmg]

@nellbergcricket Im a watcher of both T20 Blast & The Hundred. Dont try to tell me Harry Brook smashing 55 off 18 balls for Sunrisers v London Spirit or Sam Curren's 51 wickets for MI London means less than playing for Yorkshire or Surrey. From the fans perpective too, franchise has broader appeal

[Owen Pavey @ThreeSportbmmg]

@ailbeoreilly One day it's posable a 29k attendance at Clones can arrive in substantial numbers by a reinstated line connected to Armagh & Portadown. I will probably be 6ft under by the time it happens though.

[Owen Pavey @ThreeSportbmmg]

@jdgsport Well..as a follower of The Hundred it's fair to say people weren't impressed when Northern Superchargers became Sunrisers Leeds but this is literally just a change of letters. IMO i think they have the wrong groundshare though,Moseley Hill have better facilities

[Owen Pavey @ThreeSportbmmg]

@nickwebb2017 BBC Sports range is excellent Nick-the coverage of the GAA All Ireland SFC / SHC Finals is 1 such example- a 70 minute high intensity County game. Our nearest to that sense of excitement in cricket is the 3 white ball formats. Adapt players for formats the public want to see.

[Owen Pavey @ThreeSportbmmg]

@TrylineUK Does look a bit different to ours 😁 i suppose if Super League ever went back to a winter schedule our Grand Final would be in June, and promoted on Blackpool beach

[Owen Pavey @ThreeSportbmmg]

@HurricanesRLFC Oh. Have you moved back to Alexandra Stadium. Im intrigued.

[Owen Pavey @ThreeSportbmmg]

@nickwebb2017 The BBC Sports World service wil always be relevant Nick, but numbers watching County Championship online do not ensure the survival of any County. For context-take a look at Sheffield FCs facebook page. They have 66k followers. But only 250 turn out for their games.

[Owen Pavey @ThreeSportbmmg]

@ASViking @GotNotGot It's at the Accu/John Smiths/Galpharm/Alf in Huddersfield

[Owen Pavey @ThreeSportbmmg]

@NoHelmetsReq Couldn't care less. I want to see who will be crowned our Grand Final winners, and whether Broncos make Super League for 2027. International Rugby is only relevant in Union.

[Owen Pavey @ThreeSportbmmg]

@CamDonDuncan Can people just wait for the result of the Grand Final first? It's literally just 2 days away
