@iainmartin1 If I tie your legs together and you still win the race, it doesn't make the hogtie a good idea.
As you well know.
You sold your credibility so cheaply.
@NeilDotObrien Simpleton.
My version of you is not the same as your view of you.
What's the history of you becoming this stupid? We both have different versions don't we?
I know this isnโt a silver bullet. It might help some people find cheaper fuel, but it doesnโt mean thatโs all weโre doing to help people with the cost of living.
Weโre cutting VAT on electricity bills. Capping bus fares at ยฃ2 in England. Giving disabled people 24/7 free bus travel. Making it easier to cancel subscriptions. Cutting business rates for pubs, clubs and music venues. Stopping schools from demanding endless expensive branded uniforms. Ensuring if your train is cancelled, you can use your ticket on other operators free of charge. Fuel duty is staying frozen to the end of the year.
Yes, on their own, I accept that these things donโt seem like much when peopleโs lives have gotten harder. Thereโs a lot still to do.
But I wonโt shy away from the big issues either. Itโs why I made announcements last week on more public control of water, energy, and housing, to make the basics better for people long-term.
Together, these changes add up, and no matter how small it may seem, I will pull every single lever I can to help people, whenever I can.
@Steven_Swinford@bbclaurak We're ruled by idiots. Burnham has given her a ladder to climb down from, and she's kicked it away.
The Tories are not credible as long as this, and their EU policy, are sustained.
@AdnanHussainMP You currently don't get a say in things BECAUSE you're not in the room where decisions are made.
Getting back into that room gives you power back.
The opposite of what you say. But you know that anyway, you're just being objectionable for your own constituency reasons.
