@SaffronOlive Aren’t all 10 of those cards in the same deck? The one ring is so high because it is usable in all decks, where the next 9 are sort of locked together.
This chart is just another visual representation of forced rotation at work, which is the deeper problem.

@BoshNRoll Do nothing. The game progresses the same way. The only “upside” of cancel so they don’t know what’s in your hand, relevant if they had cards in hand or anything on the board.
There lines of play are draw card play card, they aren’t playing around anything. You’re at 5.

The guide lines for the store Championship promos (at least the next one) is Standard. I think the original post had the store changing the format- which is wrong

@SaffronOlive Probably from a financial perspective. I paid X$ to get mine and now it’s worth less.
With the amount of reprints that happen, everyone’s collection continues to be worth less.
I’m bummed for the banning because I traded for each of those cards.

I like it when everyone leaves with more for their time when possible, and folks can still play for fun sans prizing.

@JudgeAcademy I’ve always wondered who determines what the promos are, and the stipulations Wizards has in place when deciding promos.
The last few years have been really hit and miss.
The biggest dagger is seeing a cool promo for the Judges get another reprint in the next releases set/SL

@CubeApril Is it because the card from graveyard can only be cast once due to the forced intensity increase.
Multiple copy’s of the card can recast at some point later. But it’s like a worse bloodthirsty adversary at that point.
