@ScottElledge1@KMOV People should be able to go to a baseball game and not worry about being victims of crimes
Do you hear yourself? People avoiding crime or the victims of crime is the problem?
Without holding people to higher standards, how do ever expect things to improve? They don’t
@cheetahfourteen@serenityposting@frijoliz@iPaid9_99ForThs If the 34 y.o. had followed this reasonable path she’d be netting more than she does now tho. Not the best plan, but easily better than what the bottom 10% did for the past 15 yrs or they’re just earlier in the same “15 yr” path. Some just aren’t compatible with stable employment
@magyardemon@JohnOSoprano@poonfarm@ThienemanSZN Education and public transit are already available on the south side. IL is T12 in minimum wage by state @15/hr. Not expensive to live on the south side at all and can turn 15/hr into a trade/degree or car.
Avoid going down bad paths and financial pitfalls, the area improves
@jeremiahcarsey@B1OBEY0ND@roddywhiteTV I think fringe/late talent might stay for one last year of guaranteed income, but there really aren’t many surefire first round talents staying another year to risk injury, slipping in the draft, and losing 4 years of guaranteed NFL money. Maybe Arch if you think he’s a FRP still
@JohnRuf6@indgop There’s no way you’re as big as you are with the diet you claim, unless you’re eating triple servings. You’re claiming a ~Mediterranean diet without the physique to match lol
I never mentioned politics, just telling you not to bite the hand that literally feeds you
@JohnRuf6@indgop Most rotate their crops between corn and soybeans. It’s not mutually exclusive
IL is 1st in soybean and 2nd in corn production. IL might grow more soybeans, but still plenty corn.
Pretending you don’t consume crops from downstate because you dislike the people is absurd
@russrebrands Yea they both are bottom 4 on defense for their positions but rim > perim defender in terms of importance. Most teams hide one bad perimeter defender, it’s harder to hide a bad defensive big. Feels impossible to contend with two abysmal defenders on floor. I’d move KAT before JB
@russrebrands A bit of a Brunson hater as a Pacers fan, but he’s the truth. KAT’s defense felt like the reason they got into holes most games. I think they make the finals last szn with avg defense in his spot. They might cakewalk it there in the injured East this year sadly, KAT flaws and all
Someday, I hope there will be an era of Pacers basketball that just ends with a normal, non-devastating loss, rather than PG’s leg snapping in two, Oladipo’s knee falling apart, or Tyrese falling to the ground in anguish.
@WylinCatto Sorry, but surely you’d hold every player to the same standard you hold Haliburton?
T10 by several measures
Good over here, Pacers get to play in the Finals and sent 3 players in the top ten home! Enjoy the coach search and having two turnstiles on the floor for years to come!
@WylinCatto@JLLong314@ringernba Brunson: 30.7-2.5-5.7
Hali: 21-6.0-10.5
An extra 4.8 APG is worth at the minimum 9.6 PTS. Not all were 2s. Hali better and more points responsible for. More boards. 2 more SPG. Better defense. Brunson is a great scorer, cone on defense, useless on boards. Plenty in NBA history
@WylinCatto@JLLong314@ringernba Also Brunson and KAT are arguably the worst defenders in basketball for their position. Why do you think their minutes became staggered as the series went on? Who do you think attacked that weakness every time down the floor and made the right read?
