We had what you could call a 'roller coaster' of a day at Thorpe Park Fright Nights last week! Check out my vlog to see what went down!
Special shoutout to Deadbeat! 👀

As sad as I am for what this could mean for Towers.
I want to wish all the best to Bianca Sammut on her future endeavours. And also thank you for what you've managed to do in a fairly short amount of time.

Merlin have reported a Net Loss of £492 million for the 2024 accounting period, more than double the loss from the previous year.
This explains the company downsizing by selling off assets and making various cuts across the business.

From August 1, the operation of some of Blackpool’s most popular attractions — including The Blackpool Tower (Eye, Ballroom, Circus and Dungeons) and Madame Tussauds — will be brought under local management for the first time in over a decade.
These attractions will be run by @BPLTourismLTD, a new council-owned tourism company that also operates Sandcastle Waterpark and Showtown. This move marks an exciting step forward in shaping the future of tourism in the resort.
👉 What does this mean for visitors?
In short, all the experiences you know and love will continue — but with even more focus on Blackpool’s unique identity and heritage.
The Dungeons and Madame Tussauds will still be part of their well-known global brands, thanks to a new partnership that allows them to operate under franchise, the first of its kind in the UK.
This change won’t affect any current bookings and all attractions will continue to operate as normal throughout the summer season and beyond.
There’s a proud history behind these venues — and now, an exciting new future too, shaped by the people who know Blackpool best.

Imagine removing the ONLY above-mid maze of Scarefest 2024! Idc if it has been there 10 years! It's probably a sign of the times and an indication of how downhill the park has gone siknce. Bet all mazes were on par with its intensity back in the day.

Blackpool Pleasure Beach has topped the list of boredom-busting destinations for families in 2025.
Based on reviews, the park took the top spot and achieved the highest score out of 160 destinations, beating Chessington World of Adventure and Thorpe Park.

Skyride is coming back soon after a big investment! 🚡✨ Whilst we hoped to reopen on April 30th, we’re adding final touches to make the experience perfect.
Thanks for your patience! We can’t wait to have you soaring again soon! 📣
Before anyone says "but the Retrosquad didn't fit in with the themed areas", I couldn't care less because the park is a thematic mess regardless. As long as the ride hardware is good then I'm happy. Alton Towers could never compete with Epic Universe so no point trying lol.
It was a bad enough investment already but I was actually considering giving it a go later in the season depending how nauseating others reported it to be. Definitely not now! Bring back Funk 'n' Fly? Blade? Mixtape? Charlie? But no, they have to keep making the park worse!
Imagine promoting your park using rides that are closed for unplanned maintenance. Not the first time they've done this either. They've constantly promoted Hyperia when it has been having issues.
Full cycle testing of Launch Pad is now well underway, with new ride announcements having also been added! Join me as I showcase these recent changes!
