The Pope left us suddenly this morning, after giving his final Urbi et Orbi blessing on Easter Day from the central balcony of St. Peter's Basilica, and after taking his final turn among the crowd to bless and bid farewell.

The appearance of the Blessed Virgin Mary, who became known as Our Lady of Guadalupe, was a miracle.
The Castilian roses 🌹🌹🌹 that arrived from the Tepeyac hill in winter were a miracle.
The divinely illustrated vision of Our Lady on the tilma of San Juan Diego was a miracle, as is the fact that the tilma composed of organic fibers has refused to degrade for 500 years and is still available to be viewed until the day of today.
who turns our broken and imperfect pieces into His purpose.
And that is the beautiful thing I would like to find inside myself: a serene and firm humility.

Humility is the opposite of demand, because it does not ask for anything, instead, it accepts, embraces what is: the truth, without hiding, without being ashamed, but not with a pessimistic resignation, but from faith and trust in God, ➡️
Sometimes I imagine a kinder world where good people, who naturally care about the well-being of others, allow themselves to feel at peace with themselves in whatever unique way they choose. No criticism, no oppression, letting vulnerability become our inner strength.
