@BaronDestructo Kira gets better in a way that feels natural. Remeber that she is a trauma-ridden woman born as a guerilla fighter under occupation.
Her bad behavior early on fits naturally there, even if it's annoying watching it. Her character growth is based around become a complete woman.
@AZ_2501 So then you agree that morality and legality are seperate.
Then I think your confusion is due to some lost nuance of the translation.
In english there is a third category "Ethics". This is a third category that is distinct from legal or moral. It's hard to describe though.
@JohnCleese I think it's clear for anyone with eyes to see that the excuse they give to the public has nothing to do with the actual reason.
I think it's also perfectly clear what the reason is.
@Lexbianism I mean, maybe that's hot for a lesbian, but it's not hot for a straight man.
That looks more like a man chest in the boob window than it does a womans.
@thefreespi65329 The Force isn't supposed to DO that, and fucking around with powers beyond your comprehension is a REALLY bad idea.
Also, killing every apprentice or master is really bad for growing your small business.
@Amphipolis14@st_louis_stan Sorry, but there's nothing all that erotic about her. She's naked, yes. But... that's it.
A random Malfoid drawing brings up more feelings of romance. And in terms of sexiness, a woman has to do more than simply be naked.
@SamuraiShibaJP Well then, Bill... you did good. The Japanese lost their way for a little bit, but you helped lay the groundwork to earn us a long friend.
The worlds a crazy place, but men like you make it a little better. Thanks for letting me stand on your shoulders.
@toffee_32 Safe Horny is a real phenomena.
And honestly, it's so performative and disingenuous that I fail to see where it can originate from EXCEPT hatred of straight men.
@tanpukunokami Goku is legitimately a major aspirational figure in the west.
He's not quite the same as Superman, but he fills the same niche. And he's got a lot more quality TV time than Clark Kent does.
@ShamashAran Hell of an October surprise.
He had to get results from Omar before the midterms. So I knew he had some really good shit on her.
But never in my wildest dreams did I expect her to just fucking run away.
@Nominrath@jardiniernormie Okay, I agree.
If this all inspires people to make other bigger what-if fics, that's fine. But I do think the greatest broad appeal is in JUST the Dracaena relationship changing. I'd say the first two books would be very close to the same, Malfoy just gets a little Helga Pataki.
@BasedPota18 As much as I love Star Wars video games, they are HUGELY responsible for the misunderstanding of the Force.
There is no "Light Side". That is purely an invention of games to distinguish between Force users who are Jedi-like rather than Sith-like.
@jardiniernormie Lucius is already worried about Voldemorts return.
Only now his daughter is in love with that boy. This further complicates things.
In the original story, he was a reluctant abused servant of Voldemort. With a push from Dracaena he might take the Snape route.
@SamuraiShibaJP@YellowLantern12 It's the day to day version of "A society grows great when old men plant trees under whose shade they will never sit."
Japan is great because of the people who came before you. They are long gone. The only way you can pay them back is to pay it forward. Don't waste their gift.
