BREAKING: Legendary drag queen Trixie Mattel absolutely destroys Republicans for smearing and scapegoating the LGBTQ community for cheap political points — and her words are taking social media by storm.

Clearly unafraid of getting political in public, Trixie unleashed a powerful and impromptu speech at the 34th Annual GLAAD Media Awards.

"So this art form I've devoted my life to is being used as a scapegoat for people to get votes," she said. "This is what they always do. They just take some random cause that they know people will vote for based on nothing, but there’s no way to combat it because you can’t even come at it with data because this isn’t a group of people who care about data."

"Last night I was in my tub at the Hilton — a standard room thank you, very modest — and I was looking for information on stats like drag queens being pedophiles. Zero," said Trixie. "There are no drag queens being arrested for sexual assault of children. That doesn't happen."

"Do you know where that happens? At church. Okay? That's where," she went on. "This whole country mollycoddles Christians and I'm fucking tired of it. Tired of it!"

"You're passionate about this," remarked the reporter.

"I'm very passionate about it. Like, do we have separation of church and state or not?" she responded. "Because if you can be a religious figurehead and just make your religion the law then we don't! We don't! It's so crazy."

"You don't find drag queens trying to restrict other people ever. Ever! Ever!," she said.

"You just want to live," said the reporter.

"We just want to live. I just want to get drunk is that too much?" she said.

The incredibly articulate and heartfelt remarks cut to the heart of this issue. Republicans are lying about drag queens and spreading hate because they have nothing else to offer the American people.
