Over the last couple months, I've noticed several hurricanes from the 1970s now have updated satellite imagery. Here's the old vs. new image of Hurricane CARMEN in 1974. Huge upgrades!

The amount of detail present in the true color imagery we know today is such a game changer. CARMEN 1974 looks more like a very strong hurricane.
