@deaconnn__@RocketLeague To my knowledge, if the spawn the game is trying to place you in is obstructed by another object then it will choose another player spawn. My best guess is the ball obstructed the spawn so it uses the next spawn location in the list and that was on the wrong side of the field.
@JamaicanCocoRL Also, the general public doesn't get to experience any personal elements from interacting with the staff who care about the game so they pretty much are just taking the announcement at face value right now.
@JamaicanCocoRL I'm personally excited for future information regarding any custom map/content integration. The hesitancy for me is that Steam had the Workshop platform where Epic has had 5 years to add an equivalent option but decided to hold off. No promises made in the trailer either.
@_Flitz You haven't accidently set gameplay speed to 98 or 99% in the pause menu? Sometime people fat thumb a left input when pausing. I have seen people submit speed runs at as slow as 95% by accident without even realizing it.
@RocketLeague More studios need to do community polls before a new feature is added. That way they can be sure that it is something wanted by the players. It also helps focus development time to the features players want to see. Player feedback can be disregarded sometimes but it helps.
@RL_Status Glad to see offline mode confirmed. But it does make it tedious to play some custom maps if you need to relaunch the game to disable EAC. Any map requiring the map expansion plugin to work now can't be played while waiting in queue. Also RIP any alphaconsole users.
@minecraft_86807@Lethamyr_RL A functioning report system that would ban accounts if reported for cheating would help. Banning fresh accounts that have 90%+ winrates would work too. Lastly, just having player moderators that can have heavily weighted reports would help.
@Lethamyr_RL What's funny is you can even go into custom 1v1 tourneys and find people testing their bots. I looked up the account and the bot is playing in c2 ranked 2's. People are literally using the game as an ai science project at this point.
@JamaicanCocoRL If the only thing Epic is willing to do to fix cheating is full nuke the mod scene then so be it. But the cheating problem can't be entirely solved with EAC and people will still find a way to bot and DDOS. So I have fears that if we lose bakkesmod, it would be for nothing.

@TheDangerTaco Could really be anything. Maybe the mirror function isn't 100% accurate or the collision mesh is placed wrong. Could even be a weird physics calculation inconsistency. I know the cross bar has some weird inconsistency so the wall curve having it would make sense.

@Carrybou2 Spaghetti code just wanting to respawn multiple people after the demo. The game flagged the player to respawn by mistake and I have no idea why. Everyone is assigned a player ID in the lobby so somehow the wrong one was selected after the demo.
