@mattforney Maybe some of it is funded by foreign lobby groups but I absolutely don’t want data centers being built on top of residential neighborhoods, farmland, or clear cutting forests impact hunting/fishing/recreation. Why can’t data centers can take over the hundreds of abandoned malls?
@RaymondJaymond@OpenSourceZone You underestimate the average leftist’s ability to weasel into power. They may not have children, but they are in control of: 1) public private and higher ed, healthcare, media, tech, NGOs, and local gov roles. They wield massive power over you and your children with no oversight
@McJuggerNuggets > grieving the loss of their unborn child and making an impossible decision
You CHOSE TO KILL YOUR CHILD. How do you not see the irony in this statement???
Last year, Republicans gave ICE $140 billion.
Now, Republicans want to give ICE $70 billion more.
Your taxpayer dollars are funding an out-of-control mass deportation machine.
@diannew314159@CBSSacramento Gas has cost more in California for decades. It was over $5 a gallon when I was in LA for a work trip back in 2022.
Stop lying to yourself. Your advocacy for shit policy is why California is one of the most expensive, bureaucratic, fraud ridden states in American history
@zdqz4t As an American I think she’s great. Not sure how she is on economic policy, but as far as immigration is concerned, she certainly understands the importance of immigration control
@ankoromochuu Take it from us in the USA; the media isn’t your friend. If you turn off the tv you’ll find that most people are normal. The ones who are obsessed with the media are the same people who think the media would never lie to you.
There’s a lot of money to be made in peddling lies.
@m_takewaka I don’t think many people from outside the US understand just how large America truly is. It’s so geographically huge that each state is almost like its own country. Each state therefore has its own spin on barbecue, varying the spices used, the cooking methods, sauce flavor, etc
@tanomuzeA We’ve been taught over the last 70 years that being proud of your national identity is bad, that it’s “racist” to prefer your people and culture over others. But you can’t ignore reality - when your country is flooded by the third world, you realize not all cultures are the same
@tanomuzeA Keep Japan “Japanese”. Sure you can have immigration, but keep it limited. Be choosy with who you let in. National identities are important; never EVER give that up! Your country is more than an economic zone; it’s a place with a unique culture, history, language and people.
