とうとうプレイオン公式から正式に来年への延期が発表されちゃいましたね😭

やはりノジマオンラインからのメール通り、メーカーからの延期の連絡があったというのは本当だったようです
日付もノジマオンラインの延期メールと同じ27年9月16日だそうです

これはUK限定なのだろうか🤔？

So supposedly there is some drama regarding this new hire regarding Shift Up. This Benzadon guy from France to which he wants to push DEI and that many here are worried and there is a right to be concerned.

However I highly doubt he will be as effective since Kim usually has the final say what happens with the company and he has always stood for beautiful female characters and fanservice especially when you see him retweet a lot of fan stuff.

That being said I do think Shift Up needs to slow down on hiring people. I know they became a public company and I am happy they are no longer a 2nd party support company for Sony. I am also happy for the upcoming Shinji Mikami game that Shift Up is helping out on but I want the companies I still hold dear such as Shift Up that there are many snakes in this corrupt gaming industry and they will take advantage completely if you are not careful.

I can excuse the awful Evie AI video since that was more of a joke music video, I can excuse the Persona *censored* collaboration since I do believe that Atlus told Shift Up to tone down the 🍑 regarding characters like Makoto (funnily enough the chibi model has a 🍑 but not the actual character model), but this one I want Shift Up to notice and be wary of people like this.

We already have companies such as Capcom, Square Enix, Koei Tecmo, Namco Bandai, Nintendo (their American branch known as NOA), and Sega that showed us that these people will hurt you and damage your reputation. Sure some will still be strong enough as Nintendo, some will have an inconsistent frustrating view like Capcom, and some... well absolutely self destruction such as Square Enix, Bandai Namco, and Marvelous Games.

In conclusion, Kim and Shift Up... please reconsider. And if not, at least keep this guy in full check. I am a massive fan of Stellar Blade and put over 1000+ hours on PS5 and near 500 hours on PC. It was an amazing video game that got me loving games in such an awful 9th generation thanks to safe sanitized slop. Let's not sacrifice any of the good will.

Sincerely, a massive Stellar Blade fan and a professional player at that.

In France a lot of people censored talking about Stellar Blade (Julien Tellouck, Benzaie, Guillaume Dorison, Gamekult for example and others...).

ちょっと昔の開発話「カラーパレット」
自分がSNKに入社した頃（1990～）のアーケードマシンのゲームグラフィックは２Dが主軸でした。
NEOGEOを基準で話をすると、1つのSpriteに対して１パレット（16色）を指定します。

侍スピリッツの場合、図の覇王丸の場合はキャラクターと武器の２つのSpriteで構成されます。
それぞれのSpriteに1パレットを指定しますが、ゲーム全体で256パレットなので、できるだけ節約する必要があり、キャラと武器では同じパレットを使用してました。

１つのパレットは16色と言っていますが、１色は透明色になるので、実質15色でキャラを描くことになります。
但し、黒を使用するときはF番にするというチーム内ルールもありました。

パレット内のカラー番号は16進数で数えられており、０～Fまでとなります、業界あるあるでは日常で物を数えるときにも16進数になってしまい（例えば12個をB個みたいな）家族が？となったりしました。

今はこんな制約も無くなって自由度が段違いです。

A little development story from the past: Color Palettes.

When I joined SNK around 1990, arcade game graphics were primarily 2D.
Using the NEOGEO as an example, each sprite was assigned a single palette of 16 colors.
In Samurai Shodown, for instance, Haohmaru is made up of two sprites: the character and the weapon.
Each sprite gets one palette, but since the entire game only had 256 palettes, we had to be very economical—
so the character and weapon shared the same palette.

Although a palette is said to have 16 colors, one of them is reserved for transparency,
which meant we actually had only 15 usable colors to draw a character.
There was also a team rule that black had to use the F slot in the palette.
Palette color indices were counted in hexadecimal, from 0 to F.
A common industry quirk was that you’d start counting things in hex even in daily life—
saying something like “B items” instead of 11—leaving your family completely confused.
These days, those kinds of limitations are gone,
and the level of creative freedom is on a whole different level.
