It’s been a few years since I’ve last seen it so I need to check it out again. To see what it was all about. The technology of the film that was so groundbreaking is commonplace now, so does it hold up?
Considering it’s a whole section in Disney, I’d assume so. We’ll see tho.
I think it’s interesting how there’s been a recent boom in hate for Avatar. I know this has subsided a bit, but for last 2 years, everyone dog piled this movie a decade after it came out.
But I think everyone has forgot, or was too young to remember how HUGE this movie was. Avatar was a cultural movement when it released. You couldn’t take 5 steps without bumping into the thing. The kicker is too, everyone loved it. This was the definition of the IMAX blockbuster.
