Less than a month left of highschool

I’m really looking into going to an HBCU, either XULA or FAMU, but financially I can’t. My options are to stay in California then transfer. My other schools’ deadlines are May 1st. Any hbcu students have any tips to get additional aid from the finance office before this deadline?
