@XxJakez123xX Part of what he said is exaggerated. But the things Oldeus did was kind of the point. Progress can be lost as much as its gained. Oldeus is proof that Rudeus NEEDS his family because otherwise he just relapses.
@mykise5@aeolian550 Mana capacity and magical prowess has nothing to do with being gifted, you still need to train for it. Also stops changing the subject.
@mykise5@aeolian550 Having a magical affinity and enhanced mana capacity doesn't mean anything if you don't put in the work, that doesn't make them gifted.
@mykise5@aeolian550 I said he wasn't born gifted, I never said he wasn't special. Those are two different things. And I've read the novel. That's why I can argue this.
@mykise5@aeolian550 Thousands of people had a Laplace factor, Rudeus wasn't that special. And him being self aware isnt the same as having adult intellect. He loved magic, so he studied it. Everything he achieved he got through hard work.
@mykise5@aeolian550 He wasn't born gifted though. He got to where he was through studying and hard work, he was never handef a single thing ge didn't earn.
@kellysxnpaigrid Rudeus is a teenager in a mans body who is also mentally unstable. He wasn't set on becoming stronger to protect because he didn't have any loved one's.
The story isn't about him becoming broken, it's about him becoming fixed.
And we see what happens when Rudeus seeks power.
@KayfabeUTD@LaByRiNtH_Manga He was a kid when he waa reborn, he straight up states this in the arc where Paul dies. He was a kid playing grown up. And Eris is his third cousin, he is basically unrelated to her, this is also legal worldwide and accepted worldwide
