They’ve been planted throughout the UK since then

They’re huge already, and this, the FIRST here, is still thriving #GTOB 🏆🌴🇬🇧 …

so NOBODY knows how tall, fat and old they’ll get here 😳

On Hampstead Heath today at 4 PM, practically no one was on the scorched yellow grass in direct sunlight, but there were dozens of people under these majestic trees.

A reminder that it’s between 7 and 15 degrees cooler under trees. It’s obvious we need more everywhere …

At 400 years old now, the black mulberry tree 🌳 🍇 at Kelmscott Manor was ancient when William Morris lived there in the late 1800’s

You can see how it may have inspired 1891 bed hangings there, and the classic Morris & Co fabric -The “Kelmscott Tree” in Mulberry/Russet
