@ReassessHistory Unfortunately not. He spent time on the Falkland with 11th Bn West Yorkshire Regiment from 1942 to early 44, & there are family stories from then, but the only Normandy related information is limited to Arromanches being called “Arromanchey” and some grave digging duties

@ReassessHistory His name was Maldwyn Douglas Havard, 4080376, and he joined 2/6th as a replacement following Galmanche on the 11th July. He service record reports him missing on the 16th July, and then later found in hospital

Private Albert 'Gilbert' Moore was batman to Major Leonard Roberts in D Company 7 South Staffs, 59th Staffordshire.

He was badly wounded in the back by air bursting shells as he tried to dig in during the fight for Noyers, Op Pomegranate on 17 July 1944.

Len found him in a poor state, 'I tried to comfort him but, clearly the wound was mortal. I remember him saying, "My wife won't like this."'

Thirty year old Moore died later that day, leaving his wife Anne behind.

The maximum range of the BMW i3 50 xDrive Limousine (2026) will be up to 900 kilometers (WLTP). Since no binding WLTP values are currently available, these are preliminary values. Furthermore, the real life values depend on various factors, e.g. cargo weight, driving style, route, weather conditions, auxiliary electrical consumption (including air conditioning), tires, battery state of health.
