@STS_News Yeah, Foucault can be annoying... but most possibly, the problem is more with the commentators than with the author -- same with Marx, Schumpeter, etc. I think.
@STS_News@provisionalidea There some colleagues in Australia as well, doing entrepreneurial and corporate histories, interesting endeuvors as well. You might give a look to «The Public Historian» journal -- remember there a piece entitled "Oral history as institutional biography", very intriguing...
@STS_News@provisionalidea It is an interesting 'avenue', I did recently a handful of them... Though not so original anymore (and there are some pitfalls, one must acknowledge): institutional history and even commissioned histories have been doing interviews, 'for ages' I would say...
@STS_News The folks from the public history movement have been claiming to do a lot of oral history... Linda Shopes, Michael Frisch, etcetera. Might give them a chance as well :-)
