@DavidMc47629196 @wil_da_beast630 We stopped donating to the RC when we needed their help. My husband was out to sea on a US Navy ship & had to come home for a medical emergency. We were always told how the RC helped with airfare, giving grants to lower ranked servicemen. Not us. We had to pay back every dime.

@elonmusk @mattvanswol Why I give to animal shelters. Well-established, transparent, animal shelters. I give to the local women's shelter. They are places where I can go and literally SEE my donations at work. Maybe I like to see how my money is used because I don't have a lot to give.

@SenAlexPadilla Turkey is .99 a pound here, some places even less. So... eggs are $4 a dozen LESS so there's that. I know of one store giving turkeys away for free with the purchase of the rest of your ingredients. Try actually going into a store.
