Almost broke my neck on my high school stairs the other night because the dumb sound-activated lights shut off for the 10th time in a minute.
Coincidentally, a university professor just told me my massive summer AI project was too bloated to finish. Hurt my ego, but he was completely right.
So I scrapped the entire codebase.
Instead, I’m fixing the stairs.
I'm building a lightweight CV + ML model using the existing hallway cams to track real foot traffic. It keeps the lights on until the zone is actually empty. No more stumbling in the dark.
Entering this into our school science fair.
Fixing real physical problems > building fake AGI. 🛠️
