Wife, mom, recovering journalist, former police PIO and now school communications executive. In all of these roles, I've learned listening is key.

At tonight's Against All Odds speaker series, Sheryl Adkins-Green shared advice from her personal experiences as a C-suite executive with Mary Kay and a woman of color. One way Sheryl has turned barriers into breakthroughs is through the “power of belief."

This is so appropriate with Queen @Rhianna trending. @MerriamWebster for the win!

To the remarkable women of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, today step a little lighter, smile a little brighter and know that we come from 110 years of outstanding women who have made - and are making - a positive impact on the world. To my Eta Beta-made sisters of Evolution OO-OOP!

This is a great visual for those days when you just have to accept your current situation and ride it out. No need to fight the inevitable. #JustAcceptIt

@Only1sheleah I can't - and would never - argue about the cuteness, but I see a resemblance between Clifford and the pumpkin. You may have an artist on your hands.

[Tiara Ellis Richard @TiaraMERich]

@TamekaButts1 @NeeleySchoolTCU @KenBouyer Oh, you would have LOVED it. :)

[Tiara Ellis Richard @TiaraMERich]

Today's @NeeleySchoolTCU Tandy Executive Speaker Series felt like church. I was taking notes and humming affirmations under my breath. One note from guest speaker @KenBouyer - Leadership is a contact sport and some leaders don't like to get active. #GetActive #LeadershipMatters

Conversations are the currency of change, according to EY's Ken Bouyer and TCU Neeley's Tandy Executive Speaker Series guest. Today he aimed to spark change while discussing the "Business of Belonging" before 250 people. The challenge: “How will you change someone’s life?”

[Tiara Ellis Richard @TiaraMERich]

@QBCoachDKing @DvilleISDPolice @Connie_Connects YES!!!! Same.

[Tiara Ellis Richard @TiaraMERich]

Talk about thinking outside the box... The horse power and trade-ins lines nearly took me out. 🤣 Well, @DvilleISDPolice? @Connie_Connects?

@1023vicks @DvilleISDPolice @Connie_Connects As in all things PR, it's great for Fort Worth PD right now. But Arlington PD could not do this at the moment. That's the challenge with unique, creative ideas. You have to ask if they will stand the test of time. Being #MarketingFocused vs #PublicRelationsMinded
