Can’t sleep bc I can’t stop thinking abt the time I was late explaining there was traffic bc of the “children’s parade” happening down the street. I said “it was weird each child had an adult”
After a silence, finally someone said “school, kids were being dropped off at school”

Headed in for a consult on getting my IUD replaced, and friends, I am gonna unload my full YOU WILL GIVE ME ALL THE DRUGS on this unsuspecting doctor. Pray for them. Or cheer for me.
Throwback to the time when a nurse asked me if I wanted an IUD:

Nurse *mutters*: Your friend never had a baby then.
Me: That's the general idea, yeah.

Why can't people simply be happy for women who pursue their dreams of motherhood? And also agree to not badger women who do not have, can’t have, and/or don’t want children.
“…I will never forget what it feels like to be a woman who is not having children. And how that might be because a woman genuinely doesn’t want to — an equal, valid and conversation-ending choice that should be respected unequivocally.” https://t.co/XiJFd6FMBt
