I finally wrote down the story behind why I built Ticket Timeline.
It didn’t start with code.
It started with a wooden cigar box full of ticket stubs I couldn’t throw away.
After 15 years, I finally put that story into words.
Here’s the first article in a series I’ve wanted to write for years:

🏟️ On this day in 1973, Joe Torre hit for the cycle.
Most fans remember Torre as a Hall of Fame manager, but he was also the 1971 NL MVP and one of baseball’s best hitters.
Has anyone here seen a player hit for the cycle in person?
Twelve years ago I made the first post.
I had just secured the trademark for Ticket Timeline and confidently wrote:
“Now time to flex muscles and get the domain… and build the thing.”
Turns out building “the thing” took longer than expected.
Today, it is is finally live.
The finished product!
Mickey Mouse Brave Little Tailor with a 3D effect.
For my first attempt at the 3D effect, I’m really happy with the outcome.
Handcrafted card created with 1/16” hand cut paper strips.

*FOR SALE* GOATEE GOAT – I'd never seen a picture of Brett Favre with a goatee until I flipped over his 1999 Metal Universe card, and it gave me a huge laugh. Had to remix it! #BrettFavre#GreenBayPackers#Packers#CardArt#NFL

*FOR SALE* THE FRANCHISE – This piece blends 3 images & each of the photos encapsulates a different part of what made Griffey such a special & beloved player. Tag a Griffey fan & help this find a home #kengriffeyjr#seattlemariners#cardart#baseballcards https://t.co/7RksR9z8Bf
*FOR SALE* RAINBOW REVERSAL — The photo is from the moment that Kobe really burst onto the national scene, winning the Slam Dunk contest as a rookie. The background is composed of rainbow foil from 1998 UD3 baseball rookies #kobebryant#kobe#cardart https://t.co/YgUVbfwFM0
*FOR SALE* MINT MANNING — This was a fun card to create and one that helped me break some my personal rules. The quarter is from 1998 (Manning drafted) and the dime is from 2007 (SB winner). https://t.co/HVVpEFAVoD #peytonmanning#indianapoliscolts#cardart#nfl
I’m loving this new Kobe remix I’m working on, especially the way the nameplate turned out. Should I add the stats in the bottom right? Or leave them off? #CardArt#KobeBryant#Kobe#thehobby
@12pint I played with a similar idea of putting this in the background of a regular BLT card with the figure traced out. I didn't like it. But it was fun to experiment with Lorcana for the first time since I do sports cards. Good luck!
*FOR SALE* IMAGES OF 71 — This 1/1 card blends the iconic 1971 Topps border with a shot of MJ leaning over and staring. I thought it was a nice change from more popular aerial and dunking pics https://t.co/FnAAFluyww #CardArt#MichaelJordanCards#ChicagoBulls
