Remember the difference between the GOALS of a program or law and the INCENTIVES that are created. What is achieved can be very different from the intended.
If the IRS erroneously sends you a refund. Put the check away and WAIT FOR THE IRS TO DEMAND REPAYMENT. Now they're tracking that refund so VOID the check and send it and the demand letter back (keep a copy of it all for proof). That should end the matter.
@AmericaPapaBear Put the check undeposited to one side and wait for the IRS to say you need to repay which would be in a letter. Void the check (keep a photocopy) and send that with the letter back to the IRS. You never accepted the money so you don't owe anything.
@CollinRugg Get a payment/refund from the IRS that you didn't expect DON'T JUST DEPOSIT THE CHECK figure out what happened. When the IRS says you need to repay the mistake, void and send the check back (keep a copy of the voided check for records) with the notice letter.
Costco's new chicken strips (5) and a dipping sauce. Had to try. Now those strips were pretty darn big. 2 or 3 would have been good enough but I did finish it all. Dipping sauce was good enough. I think having a drink with that was necessary.
@Lou_inc Might be an idea to tally up what was ostensibly received as distributions since she was 18 and see what that adds up to. In the dark here about just how much of the initial inheritance should have been left by the time she turned 25.
@JohnStossel@judgeglock@ManhattanInst When there is a minimum wage that has to be paid to the "employee" then what that "employee" does has to be worth more to the company than the compensation otherwise the "employee" won't have a "job" anymore.
Had a problem with Norton 360. The chat tech was helpful and guided me through fixing the problem - uninstall then reinstall and sign back in. Works fine now. Very good.
I regularly get Grace's Diner's chicken katsu salad - a piece of chicken katsu and katsu sauce on a bed of chopped salad with salad dressing. I find the sesame seed or the french dressing, both made in-house, to be quite acceptable.
The spicy hot sweet and sour chicken at Panda Express is no longer for sale. I suppose it was there as a quick temporary replacement for the Cantonese bbq brisket. I liked both so slightly disappointed. Panda's plate is one of the more $ affordable around.
Sure most people know this: If you own a cemetary plot you should treat the certificate of title like the title to your house. Keep track of it and safeguard it. The cemetary will have records but better to have that available in your records.
The Panda Express Cantonese BBQ brisket is no more and the hot spicy sweet and sour chicken is back. Probably didn't sell as hoped for. The brisket was tender but I suppose it might have been helped if it has some kind of sauce (bbq?) for more flavor.
Zippy's Father's Day dinner - pork chop with gravy topped with mushrooms and onions. Yummy. Also the dinner has not one but two pork chops. I managed to eat it all but there was the option for another meal the next day.
Tried Zippy's Chicken Katsu Curry Saimin. The katsu curry came in the saimin curry broth otherwise a wun tun minh without the wun tun. I like katsu curry and the broth tasted fine. It was all too much for me and took leftovers home. Tasted fine this morning.
McDonald's is supposed to launch a FIFA plushie toy happy meal on the [June] 9th [or so]. I will have to check it out and see what it is. Might be interesting.
TMAG seems to be underperforming. Not really surprised as the ostensible purpose/storyline of the movie did not represent a climatic anything that would be relevant anywhere else in Star Wars.
Tried Panda Express's new Canton BBQ brisket and found it alright. Pretty tender and fairly tasty. A premium entree (+$2.20 here). The previous spicy hot sweet and sour chicken colab was nice though maybe a bit too spicy hot for me. But it was good too.
Tried the McDonald's MacCafe Orange Dream drink and liked it. I guess it was like an orange cream drink and was reminded of orange flavored creamsicles in texture and flavor. Not bad. Won't replace my diet coke due to $$ but it was alright.
@TheEXECUTlONER_ The lawn service guy has a point about the owner getting quotes from other vendors. That is what competition is for. If the price is still too high, then the owner should do it himself and save that money at the cost of his time, effort, and convenience.
