Still waiting for Siri AI? Or iPhone Still indexing📲? 🤔

After watching reports from users across iOS 27, one thing is becoming clear: indexing and Siri AI activation don’t appear to be the same process.

✨ What we’re seeing:

• 🌊 Apple appears to be rolling access out in waves
• ⏳ Some users are still indexing after 5+ days
• ✅ Some users received Siri AI while indexing was still running
• 📱 Others finished indexing but remain on the waitlist
• ☁️ Siri AI access appears to be activated separately by Apple’s servers
• ⚡ Some Apple Intelligence features are already working before full Siri AI access arrives
• 🔄 Approval times vary widely from user to user

🔋 Helpful tip:
Keep your iPhone connected to Wi-Fi & plugged in when possible ~ especially overnight. Charging can help your iPhone complete downloads, indexing, and other background tasks more efficiently.

🤔 Bottom line: Finishing indexing doesn’t guarantee instant Siri AI access, and still indexing doesn’t necessarily prevent you from getting approved. Apple seems to be enabling access separately as the rollout continues.
