@BeardedHalfling I have an isekai player in my game I run, and it’s HILLARIOUS. Lots of “where I’m from…” moments that the rest of the group tormented him over relentlessly.
It doesn’t change the game any, just lots of miscommunication shenanigans.
@19HitstheDragon So far, none, but I’m still new-ish. Started February 2020, but it doesn’t FEEL like it’s been 3.5 years lol
I have one that’s been ongoing since July 2020, I’m hoping it will be my first completed! I really love the players and story, I could probably run it forever & be happy!
@phoe_nix474 1 on my wrist from chasing my dog thru gravel, fell, embedded rock in wrist. 1 on foot from trying to stand up in pool, wasn’t as deep as I thought, took layers of skin off with texture of pool. 1 on ankle from trying to skateboard barefoot, crashed, foot caught on board grip.
Relearning MtG so I can 1) challenge a coworker to a duel without it becoming an HR nightmare, and 2) rematch my buddy @Agbujwf and maybe win next time!
Also, I have too many damn cards and I wanna actually use them!
@SolsRoles Not a riddle, but my favorite bad joke!
“Why do seagulls only fly over the ocean?” Because if they flew over a bay, they’d become a baygull! (sounds like bagel!)
And I guard the best dang bagels you’ve ever eaten.
@BCAuthor21 Dandelion tea is excellent! And I think the company that made it went out of business, but there was a dandelion soda that I was absolutely obsessed with!
Haven’t tried it, but dandelion greens salad is supposed to be tasty and healthy!
Pronoun update: also adding “it” to my pronoun list! They/them still good, just adding “it” as also acceptable!
I will nt be accepting any questions or criticisms, thank you.
@Zeldacat47@MamaDoctorJones My new PCP is a million times better, but yeah… I question my old care team a lot, especially now that I work in a medical lab and know exactly what all it takes to run these tests… It’s just so spendy, they coulda saved me AND the hospital so much $ by just listening to me!
@Zeldacat47@MamaDoctorJones Fellow Idahoan, can confirm the number of times doctors have wanted to order pregnancy tests “just in case” is alarming (every visit, regardless of reason for appt). Even after a hysterectomy, they still want to test “just to be safe”. Nah, I’m 110% sure there’s no need.
@MamaDoctorJones There’s a lot of things I wouldn’t feel safe disclosing to an ER doctor in Texas, last period being one of them.
Even w/o the new laws, I have had too many negative exps with care re: reproductive health. My care team knows what’s up, an ER doc probably won’t need to know.
@RoseandSpice First two screenshots are from the memoir I finished this evening, fiction books also include this section in their at a glance! (This screenshot from the book you gifted me for Friendmas!)
@RoseandSpice So far, everything I’ve read has been there already, so I haven’t had to add anything yet. I do really love that all their classifications come from other user’s reviews, and it gives you the at a glance data breakdown for the reviews… With content warnings!
@RoseandSpice Screenshots from StoryGraph on what I’ve listened to so far. I’m tryna read more and keep better track of what I’ve read, and it’s fun to see the types of stories I’m drawn to…
The Scholomance series by Naomi Novik was SO GOOD, 10/10 recommend it.
