Discouraged Christian, some comforting truths about God's sovereignty:
1) God cares for you at all times
2) God is helping you at all times
3) God leads you in perfect wisdom
4) God is sanctifying you
5) God will not abandon you
6) By God's grace, you will make it to glory

What if success was no longer measured in terms of achievement but in terms of humility, thankfulness, wonder, a life of love, and being faithful in the ordinary stuff of life?
I used to think that “biblical literacy” was the biggest need in the Church.
But that doesn’t explain all the “biblically literate” folks who pile gracelessness upon gracelessness.
Biblical literacy matters but I’ll take a grace-filled Christian over a biblically literate jerk.
Praying for everyone who will be missing their mother this weekend. May our Heavenly Father who knows your grief and pain, bring you comfort and peace.
Navy SEALs are the most elite warriors on earth.
How do they become that way?
By developing an unbreakable mindset.
Here’s how they do it (and how you can, too):
If Jesus rose from the dead, then you have to accept all that he said; if he didn’t rise from the dead, then why worry about any of what he said? The issue on which everything hangs is not whether or not you like his teaching but whether or not he rose from the dead.
