How can a baby in the womb receive life-saving treatment... but not have the right to life?
Baby Theo underwent fetal surgery at just 26 weeks gestation. Before the procedure began, doctors administered Botox to relax his abdominal muscles so they could repair his condition while he was still in the womb.
As an OB/GYN who has delivered more than 5,000 babies, I’ve watched fetal medicine accomplish things that once seemed impossible. We now perform open-heart surgery, blood transfusions, spina bifida repair, and many other life-saving procedures on babies before they’re born.
If a baby in the womb is a patient, that baby is a PERSON. A patient is a PERSON no matter how small.
Abortion is NOT healthcare.
I spoke to a longtime sidewalk counselor earlier today who noted that when he started ministering outside abortion mills a few decades ago, many of the women would be crying while entering the front doors. We almost never see this sort of reaction today. I may only see a few women per year who are conflicted enough about murdering their own baby to be crying on the way into the clinic. We are orders of magnitude more likely to see women making profane gestures, shouting obscenities, or even twerking on their way into the murder mill. This is the effect of keeping abortion legal for multiple generations in our culture, and shows why now more than ever is the time for Christians to abolish abortion once and for all.
Please tuck this list of scriptures somewhere accessible. The next time you are afraid and don’t know what to do please read these scriptures out loud. God bless you.

Peace and be prepared.
I’ve had an abortion. I was 21 years old completely on my own. And by completely on my own, I mean, I didn’t even have a family home to go to on holidays or weekends. nobody was there to help me financially in anyway. I was working at a coffee shop and we were one of the oops the condom broke couples. This was in 1999. There was no Plan B. My then boyfriend pressured me into it. He made it clear that if I chose to keep the child he would only do the court ordered minimum and would have no part in the child’s life.
Again this was 1999 and there weren’t good benefits, medical plans or even easily accessible welfare for women in my condition in the state I was living in. I also had horrible morning sickness from probably four weeks on which of course made keeping even my low stakes coffee job hard. So I went through with it. And almost 30 years later I still regret it and think of that child. If someone goes through with an abortion and tells you it’s no big deal? They’re either lying or evil. So now I speak out as part of repenting for murdering my first child. I am the mother of three children. One of whom I intentionally killed.
