Meet Mariah Bryant, a 24 year old BSN Trauma ICU Nurse in Nashville & the girlfriend of @ArionCarter. She is fully recovering from Stage 2 Breast Cancer with Chemo Treatments. Her hair started falling out so she had him cut off the rest & he surprised her by cutting his too. 🥹🥰
How impossibly tone deaf must an entire institution be to continue to take the wrong side on virtually every nuance of this issue?
Just when I thought the NCAA and college football, in general, could not fall any further, the simply say, “Hold my beer.”
Sources tell @On3 that Texas Tech has notified Big 12 officials it is prepared to return to the courtroom, including against schools that say they won't play the Red Raiders.
As one source said, Texas Tech is "100%" ready to return to court.

‼️ We have some important information if you’re planning to head to the lake this Memorial Day weekend.‼️
The Southeast remains under severe and, in some areas, extreme drought conditions. Large portions of the region have received significantly less rainfall than normal this spring, resulting in below normal lake levels across the Tennessee Valley.
Major tributary lakes including Norris, Douglas, Cherokee, Fontana, South Holston, Watauga, Boone, Blue Ridge, Chatuge, Nottely and Hiwassee are currently several feet below target summer pool levels. Lakes along the main Tennessee River, including Fort Loudoun, Watts Bar and Chickamauga, are also running lower than typical for this time of year.
While rainfall is forecast over the next several days, the rain is expected to be spread out over multiple days and may not significantly improve lake levels, especially those that are well below target.
Boaters should use extra caution on the water and watch for exposed rocks, debris and areas that may be shallower than normal.
Plan ahead, check conditions before you go using our free Lake Info app and enjoy the weekend safely.

I'm not a UNC fan, and I'm not necessarily an Eric Church fan (though I may be now.) However, I am a fan of something done well. For who he is and what he does, I cannot imagine a more well-done commencement address.
I love the way he weaves his points into a great message, all while staying in the lane he should be driving in. This is worth watching.

So, I was there. Sec X2, row 45. It is possible there were seats open in the deck above me that I could not see. But there were VERY FEW empty seats anywhere. And “The Pit” (on field seating and standing) was teeming with thousands of people- more than making up for the empties elsewhere.
I am also there most every Saturday in the Fall when we are told there are 102,000+.
@JasonBaumPR how could the number just be 92,000+? Both of those can’t be true. What am I missing? Genuinely wondering.
I would be interested to see if Tesla can pull the telemetry for this and let us know for sure what exactly happened in this case. @Tesla @SawyerMerritt@mikepat711 @DirtyTesLa

Wrong. It will be used year round by everyone as will the hotel. It is a no-brainer revenue creator in a day and age when, like it or not, money is the fuel to win championships.
@AD_DannyWhite Don’t build this Danny. It’s a bad idea. The money could be better spent elsewhere. Blow G10 into the river for all we care. Just don’t make things more congested than they already are. This will only be occupied for a few games/months a year. It will be dead outside of that.
In MLB history, only one team has had the following numbers over the first 25 games of a season:
+50 or better run differential
30+ home runs
200+ pitching strikeouts
0 blown saves
That one team is the 2026 @Braves.
30 years ago I was the starting QB at Utah State University. My senior year I got benched. For the next 15 years I walked around feeling like a certified loser. Then I read this quote from Pat Summitt:
'Winning is fun… Sure. But winning is not the point.
Wanting to win is the point.
Not giving up is the point.
Never letting up is the point.
Never being satisfied with what you’ve done is the point.'
It snapped me out of it. If you’re still carrying a sports setback, a benching, a missed opportunity, or any “I’m not enough” story… this is your permission slip to drop it. The game isn’t over. Your story is not yet written. You are still a work in progress. The point is you keep wanting it. You keep getting up. And you listen to that quiet voice that says, "I will try again tomorrow."
This is genuinely one of the most insane things I’ve ever seen in baseball. Robbing a homerun is hard and rare enough. Robbing two in a game is the record. But three?? One in a million chance. Take a bow, Jo Addell. #RepTheHalo
