“So let me get this straight: You started a war, got people killed, torched billions of dollars, threatened global oil supplies & ended up with basically the same deal I had - except Iran gets way more money. And I’m the one you call weak?? 😂😂😂”
DON'T FORGET ABOUT JOYCE
Rep. Joyce Beatty was the only Kennedy Center board member who tried to stop Trump's rebranding of the arts center. She then challenged the move in court, and won her case.
She is the reason Trump's name came down!
Thank you Joyce !!!
Michelle Obama Appreciation Day!!
Michelle Obama is a classy, respectful, beautiful, confident, strong Black woman who graduated from Princeton University in 1985 with a Bachelor of Arts in sociology (cum laude) and from Harvard Law School in 1988 with a Juris Doctor.
Pete Hegseth fired her. Now she's running for Congress.
Nancy Lacore, a retired three-star Navy vice admiral, has advanced to a June 23 Democratic primary runoff in South Carolina's 1st District - the House seat Rep. Nancy Mace is vacating to run for governor. Lacore was abruptly dismissed by Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth last August, part of a wave of senior military removals on Aug. 22, 2025. She has called her firing "without cause."
To be clear about where this stands: Lacore hasn't won anything yet. She's headed to a runoff against attorney Mac Deford on June 23 to decide who becomes the Democratic nominee. The winner of that contest moves on to November for a long-shot run at the seat - which the Cook Political Report rates as solidly Republican.
But the storyline writing itself is hard to miss. A career officer pushed out by the sitting Defense Secretary is now asking voters to send her to Washington, where she'd have a say over the very Pentagon that showed her the door.
Her campaign leans directly into that history - framing the dismissal as exactly the kind of accountability gap she wants to challenge from inside Congress. Mace, meanwhile, is stepping up to a statewide race, leaving one of the most Republican-leaning seats in the state suddenly without an incumbent.
It's an uphill climb in a district drawn to stay red. But a fired admiral on the ballot is the kind of race that makes people pay attention.
🚨 30 Heroes in 30 Days — countdown spirit to July 4!
Major Richard “Dick” Winters
Leader of Easy Company, 101st Airborne. On D-Day he led a daring assault on a German artillery battery at Brecourt Manor with just 13 men — the Germans had over 60. It’s still studied at West Point today.
Through the frozen hell of Bastogne and into Germany, he led with quiet competence and unbreakable resolve. Never sought glory, just did his duty, and is perhaps the embodiment of the “Quiet Heroes” who are the backbone of America. He came to fame after Stephen Ambrose “Band of Brothers” was released and then turned into a critically acclaimed miniseries.
He later was asked if he was a hero and he replied: “No. But I served in a company of heroes.”
True American leadership and quiet determination. 🇺🇸
