Sylvester Stallone once opened up about how his faith became real to him again after years of fame, pressure, temptation, and trying to carry life on his own. The Hollywood legend compared the church to “the gym of the soul,” saying people need spiritual guidance just like athletes need trainers.

He also connected the story of Rocky to themes of forgiveness, service, endurance, and redemption, explaining that his own trials helped shape the message behind the character. Stallone said the more he turned himself over to believing in Jesus and listening to God’s Word, the more the pressure lifted from his life.
