@WakieDan@XboxSupport Sorry bud, but this has been happening since the game launched. They claimed they fixed it already at one point and it wasn't. I doubt this will be fixed any time soon, but I hope I eat my words.
@Weezyyy_xD@XboxSupport I won't say I know for sure, because I haven't tried myself. It seems to be what some people are deciding to do though. I have not heard anything about 2K shutting off for the current gen
@Weezyyy_xD@XboxSupport From what I understand current-gen runs fine on next-gen consoles. It's only the next gen version of the game that causes the shutdown/crash.

@youngn859@XboxSupport Seriously. Their support doesn't give any new info. Just "we're close to fixing it". Meanwhile it's been on the Xbox Status page since 9/14. I just want some new information.
@3rdamention@chrisb5987@XboxSupport@2KSupport Dude, I feel your pain. @2KSupport doesn't want to claim anything at all, or even try to suggest anything that's actually helpful, like maybe escalating the case so that they will actually look into it.
@Desean00@RaoufAb8@XboxSupport No. It would give a message stating that it overheated when you turn the console back on. No one is getting a "overheated" message. Plus you can play the games offline for hours straight without any issues. Its only the online modes that cause the shutdown.
@XboxSupport It's obviously not an easy fix, but listing it as "We are close to resolving this issue" on the Xbox status page for 10 days straight isn't encouraging. Maybe work with your support too so they can say something other than "check back in 2 days" when we ask for an update.
