These are pictures we are getting from Shire aid recipients.
The expiry date is in less than a month and look what the flour they are getting looks like.

It is tragic.
Humanity and humanitarian aid couldn't get lower than this.

On the anniversary of the 3-year war in Tigray, we dedicated the day to the victims of rape. We had a great turnout and raised quite a lot of money for the survivors. Thank you to the volunteers, you were magnificent!

@DrChTouati Shoutout to you, #Anna and all member of the organization who invested their time and energy to make such event realised!

We managed to hear back from all our colleagues in #Gaza this morning.

As with everyone in Gaza, they and their families are not safe.

They said the last two nights were extremely tense with a lot of air strikes - without fuel, water, electricity, connectivity and safe shelter to evacuate to.

Hospitals are overwhelmed with patients. More health supplies are needed.

We call again for an immediate humanitarian ceasefire, protection of health facilities and humanitarian workers, sustained connectivity, and to work towards lasting peace.

On 4 November, a day will be held at the Lyceum Club in Neuchatel, Switzerland, to raise awareness of the issue of conflict related sexual violence. I'll be talking about the particular case of Tigray and raising funds for the #SelaamProject in Adwa. ⁦⁦@TigrayCH⁩ #crsv

If you or a loved-one has been a victim of sexual violence, don't remain silent. There is very practical and professional help available.

To the people of Tigray,

My deepest condolences and utmost respect go out to you as you honor the brave souls who laid down their lives defending Tigray. May their sacrifices serve as a testament to their courage and resilience, and may their memories forever be etched in the heart of Tigray and in the minds of all who value freedom and honor. In these trying times, the world stands with you in remembrance and solidarity.

#Tigray officials lead Moment of Silence in the memory of ‘Tigrayan Martyrs’ at Hawelti Semaetat Mekelle
——
Tigray held a moment of silence for its veterans who lost their lives fighting against Ethiopian forces, Eritrean forces and Amhara forces during the war on Tigrai.

Gov’t officials lead the Moment of Silence at Hawelti Semaetat, a monument of Tigrayan Martyrs, in the capital Mekelle.

Tigrayans in every corner of the world also held a moment of silence in the memory of the veterans at the same time.

Tigray started its three-day national mourning period today with official announcement of deaths to family members of the veterans.

Other activities including the candlelight vigil ceremony are to take place today.

Mind-blowing! The president of a major international financial organisation, African Development Group, has nothing but praise for Eritrean leaders in general and Issayas in particular. Their country is one of the worst dictatorships in the world. 1/3
