Dear @UKinEthiopia @EU_Commission The European Union, the UK government and other relevant bodies should make public the Ethiopian government's repeated violations of the Pretoria Agreement, the Tigrayan Association of North America (MATSEA) said.

The Tigrayan Association of North America (UTNA) has expressed concern over the repeated violations of the Pretoria Agreement and its failure to implement the provisions of the agreement He said they should let them know.

MATSA said that remaining silent when the Ethiopian government has been violating the agreement openly and secretly over the past three years is not neutrality but a political conspiracy that will continue the suffering of the people of Tigray, encourage deliberate violations of the Pretoria Agreement.

The statement said thousands of Tigrayans have lost their lives due to lack of food, medicines and other problems while millions of others are in dire straits.

The association said the people have not been able to access their deposits in banks and their budgets have not been released.

The statement said that while such problems continued and the Pretoria Agreement was violated by the Ethiopian government, various organizations including MATSEA and the international community have been calling on it to fulfill its expected actions and relieve pressure.

The international community should not see Tigray's efforts to reform its government structure to solve its problems as a waste, he said.

Working to have a government is not a gift but a necessary requirement to survive ;it is also crucial to respond to humanitarian issues and ensure peace and stability, he said.

However, to treat these developments as an escalation of conflict is a failure to be fair and a misreading of the situation on the ground, the Tigrayan Association of North America said.

The international community: called on the Ethiopian government to respond appropriately to the territorial integrity of Tigray, displaced persons, , allow unrestricted humanitarian assistance, and press for the proper provision of basic services in Tigray.
