Kasongo doesn’t just hate Kenyans, Kasongo is just dark soul evil man. This just broke my heart in so many pieces . God what wrong did we do to have such an evil man as our president, if we dont get the fattest bull to offer as burnt offering we will offer Gaitho or Ndii to get rid of us Kasongo.
The RSF is welcome in Kenya, but not the Burundian street vendor. A militia that has killed and discriminated on the basis of ones ethnicity and race has the diplomatic red carpet rolled out for its leaders. Yet the scapegoat for a struggling economy is the Burundian street vendor.
Today, DPGSK mourns Rosemary Koech-Kimwatu, our founding and first Vice President. Her wisdom, diplomacy and dedication helped build our Society and strengthen Kenya’s privacy community. We extend our heartfelt condolences to her family and friends. Rest in eternal peace,Chemu
Yesterday, a protest against today’s protest was allowed.
Today, roads into Nairobi CBD are blocked before sunrise to stop today’s protest
You don’t have to agree with the protesters to see the contradiction.
The right to peaceful assembly cannot depend on who is protesting!
@WilliamsRuto Just so you know.. Liberia and Sierra Leone tried to be generous by hosting a quarantine facility for Ebola patients, what followed next in 2014 was a widespread Ebola pandemic.
Irungu Kang'ata has said UDA should have used Affordable Housing money to make education free in Kenya.
This is one of the strongest arguments I have heard recently.
Ruto and his government seem to have completely inverted priorities.
Over Sh100 billion has been collected for Affordable Housing.
Imagine if that money had been used to make education free, reduce school fees, and lessen the need for govt taking loans.
Instead, Kenyans are being taxed for housing while the government keeps borrowing money to fund education and even roads.
It's like spending your salary on drinks, entertainment, and luxuries, then taking a loan to pay your rent.
Education is not a luxury.
It is one of the most important investments a country can make.
Yet Kenya is taxing citizens to build houses that won't help 99% of Kenyans in any way, while borrowing billions to educate its children.
That contradiction alone tells you everything you need to know about the Ruto government's priorities.
"Why do Americans think that their lives are more important than the lives of Kenyans?"
My CNN report on the public opposition to an Ebola isolation facility for Americans in Kenya
The US has committed about KSh 1.7 billion to Kenya following Kenya's agreement to receive Ebola patients for treatment and monitoring.
At the same time, the government is now forming committees to assess the country's preparedness.
Let me ask a simple question:
If anything goes wrong, who carries the risk?
Not the Americans.
Not the politicians.
Not the people signing the agreements.
It's ordinary Kenyans.
The mama mboga in Gikomba.
The nurse in a public hospital.
The matatu conductor.
The school child.
The market trader.
Ebola is not a disease you gamble with. In some outbreaks, it has killed more than half of those infected. If 10 people get the disease, almost 6 never make it.
Other countries are busy trying to keep Ebola out.
While Kenya under Ruto is accepting Ebola patients, then forming committees on "preparedness" afterwards.
BTW shouldn't preparedness have come first?
Is KSh 1.7 billion really enough compensation for the risk being placed on 55 million Kenyans?
Maybe I'm missing something
When tragedies like the fire at Utumishi Girls Academy happen sometimes words just fail you. I cannot imagine the pain the parents, teachers and students are feeling. I know there is nothing that can be said to make you feel different but please accept my sincere condolences. Poleni sana.
If you’ve bought tokens today through kplc and haven’t received them, reply here.
Let’s document this.
And @KenyaPower@KenyaPower_Care when will you fix this ?
@KenyaPower_Care Haven’t received my tokens
UD53V08DUS Confirmed. Ksh200.00 sent to KPLC PREPAID for account 37221132766 on 5/4/26 at 6:52 PM New M-PESA balance is Ksh0.00.
KPLC, it’s time to end this token nonsense.
Most Kenyans don’t need SMS.
Most don’t need to key in codes.
Just make it simple:
Pay -- tokens reflect -- power comes back instantly.
Anything else in 2026 is inefficiency.
Respect your customers.
@KenyaPower_Care I bought tokens twice but I've not received the token code
