6’8 Troy Junior Wing Thomas Dowd is one of the most underrated prospects in the 2026 NBA Draft.

Dowd has had a standout season where he’s averaging 16/11/2 along with 1.5 steals a game and 1.4 blocks a game. While shooting 49% from the field and 38% from three on 6 attempts a game.

Dowd is a strong athlete at 6’8 who plays with an incredibly high motor. He’s one of the best off ball players in the country with his ability to create second chance plays with his offensive rebounding ability, his ability to cut at an elite level, along with his ability to create looks for himself as an off ball shooter. There’s not many 6’8 players who have Dowd’s off ball instincts, skill, and motor. Dowd also has the ability to drive to the basket or make an off the dribble three with efficiency. Dowd is also a strong connective passer who can find his teammates after a rebound, a cut, or from a spot up look. On the defensive end Dowd is a strong rim protector for his size and has a high motor on the defensive end.

There’s not many 6’8 players with Dowd’s shooting, motor, off ball instincts, athleticism, finishing, defensive and offensive versatility, and connective passing. Dowd has an ideal off ball shooting wing game and he’s someone who impacts the game at a high level.
