The most important thing about Reform’s latest financial scandal is that it points to a much broader issue within the party.

They’re clearly very happy to break rules, convention and the law to win.

Trust in politics is already at rock bottom, but this investigation gives us a glimpse of what Reform figures are apparently prepared to do behind closed doors, when they think nobody is watching and there will be no consequences.

That should worry everyone. Because the real question now is how much more has gone on when there wasn’t an undercover camera in the room?
