@SpookyGhost8413@lapdoteth@brettblackham@ItsLulu_7 Lets refresh so we are clear on what we are arguing about. Government is not necessary for capitalism. That is not to say that I dont think de facto governments wouldnt eventually emerge from a anarchist enviroment. EI, international relations.
Emergent governments ≠ necessity
@SpookyGhost8413@lapdoteth@brettblackham@ItsLulu_7 Yes, thats why its a decent analogy for anarchist society. The world stage is decentralized anarchism. Its just scaled up. Youre not making the point you think youre making.
@CentreMinder@chriswarkentin Yah thats the problem I have. We shouldn't be doing that. I get there is a place for it but the only new construction ive seen anywhere is apartment buildings and condos as you explained. If we are having to resort to such things maybe we shouldnt be mass importing people.
@CanadianCoffey This is misleading because the industries that grew did so insignificantly, are small and added no value. Its just wordmanship to save face for the government.
@Jared01574027@CanadianCoffey He was shadow finance minister, having understanding of international relations is a key asset in that role. Not a necessity, nor is schooling itself but its a benefit for sure.
@CanadianCoffey Not simping for Ford here but lets not forget the impact inflation has on that spending. By real number percentages of course its high as costs are higher overall. I dont think we should have debt at all though so definitely id like to see this go the other way.Hes a Blue liberal
@CanadianCoffey As a Canadian we must not forget that we import all the materials to make aluminum, we do not have any of the resources. We simply produce the end product. The US need only to onshore production which WILL happen if these things continue. Its an example of How the US subsidizes us
@CanadianCoffey@PierrePoilievre That pipeline would have been built sooner if not for Trudeaus policies. We had to rescue it because we ruined the project in the first place.
@SpookyGhost8413@lapdoteth@brettblackham@ItsLulu_7 Existence if rights ≠ enforcement of rights.
A good analogy for this situation is the world stage ironically speaking about governments. Its a denctralized community of norms enforced not by a monopolistic governing body but by the broader group wanting to maintain stability.
