Talk about deserving! He deserves that plus the Presidential Medal of Honor. There are many of us in Louisiana that have reached out on this and it’s time (given this news)and yeah I realize we’re a couple of weeks away from the elections, but @SpeakerJohnson and @POTUS take notice. This Coach did more than just win 🏀games. Making certain the athletes weren’t just used by the system. Everyone needs to know how far ahead of the curve he was, and he took a lotta grief because of it. God Bless Dale Brown. He idolized Coach Wooden, and it’s an honor he richly deserves. 🏀💜🙏Coach Brown turns 91 🎃 on Halloween.
This is awesome coming from you Coach Cowher. Those of us that really knew Chuck Amato. I got to know him really well with Coach Bowden. He was the genuine article! He’ll certainly be missed. May he RIP. 💜🙏🙏🏈
RIP Coach Amato. Thank you for your influence and guidance in shaping me as a young LB from Western PA coming down to @PackFootball. You showed me tough love when I needed it & taught me Commitment, Sacrifice & Teamwork. You'll be missed, but your legacy will NEVER be forgotten!
Notre Dame at BYU drew an audience of 9.2 million viewers with a peak audience of 13.2 million.
It was the most-watched Big 12 game (excluding the conference championship game) since 2022 and second-best this decade.
More than halfway home in the CFB regular season and total viewing across all rated networks is +3%.
For all the talk of chaos, real or manufactured, college football is on its way to yet another record-high season.
The brutal truth? The @Big12Conference had an incredible weekend and the @SEC’s fan base will be apoplectic when that long awaited 2nd bid finally comes to the Conference runner up as well as Champion, because that’s a spot taken away from a potential 4th SEC bid.
Kenny was special @RealPitino knew it and so did @GoCards and shy wouldn’t they? He didn’t all, and from the year I started calling @LSUBasketball in 82’ on TigerVision then #MetroConference Games in 83’ & 84’ Kenny was a fixture in my basketball life. I’ll forever be grateful to him, and to Rick for convincing him to come out of retirement for @StJohnsBBall the past few years. A true Treasure of Sports Information throughout a Hall of Fame career.
He spent his career celebrating Louisville’s legends. Now, he’ll take his rightful place among them.
On Jan. 2, we’ll honor Kenny Klein with a permanent place in the rafters of the KFC Yum! Center. We love you, Kenny. ❤️

Sad news again. May he RIP 🙏wonderful guy and loyal Asst. To Saint Bobby, and as Charismatic a guy as there was in the early 2000’s as a Head Coach. He’ll be missed. Prayers to his family. 🙏🙏
RIP Chuck Amato, who has passed away at 80.
He was a key staff member for Bobby Bowden's FSU dynasty.
And his early 2000s NC State teams with Philip Rivers were so fun to watch. Felt like they played on Thursday night every week.
Deepest condolences to his family.

@TimBrando@OldTakesExposed@PShuck@CollegeGameDay@espn Beano Cook brought so much to ESPN. He had to educate the producers, directors and talent about college football and it’s history. He kept insisting they take GameDay on the road to different campuses until they did. They we’re lucky to have him.
“There are a lot of places with big buyouts, and you have people thinking, ‘All this money to go get who?’”

Houston coach Willie Fritz has been in college coaching for 44 years, but this Saturday will be the first time one of his teams has ever been on ESPN's @CollegeGameDay. "That will be exciting," Fritz says. "I've never been part of GameDay. . . We're excited about being on. I think all the people on there are really pro college sports.
"They do a great job of really getting the sport out there. And do it the right way."
Travis, if ya don’t think 🤔 concerns over investment vs. production questions were being asked in the 2nd half then you’re more naive than I’d ever imagine. I didn’t cite anything, nor did I mention any numbers , but we all know his worth at the position in today’s climate and where he had come from so that’s a pretty obvious thought process. The fans were fairly audible with their displeasure at different points in the game. It was a copy point the longer Dan kept him out. Eventually, what we speculated about his coming in happened so that’s why I brought it up. It’s part of the job. To follow any games storyline. As for your assertion, perhaps this wouldn’t happen if in this new NIL/era if schools were mandated to make their financial investments in players public. Until such time speculation will persist I’m afraid. In the future please feel free to call me personally or come to the booth and be preemptive and you’ll have my trust just as your Coach has mine! Thanks and congratulations on a big W!
