The reds have the second highest payroll in their division. I am not asking the Reds to compete with Dodgers or the Mets or the Yankees.

I am simply asking them to be competitive within their division on a year in and year out basis. This division is notoriously cheap, no one spends, even the Cubs who should be spending considerably more, do not spend all that much. There is NO reason the Reds should not be at least somewhat competitive in the NL Central.

Again, the Castellini’s suck. Not denying it, hate their guts, want them to sell as much as the next guy. But the Reds should not be uncompetitive every single year in this division and they are. That’s more on the front than the owners
