Today is Light Armored Reconnaissance Marine Day
Today, on March 13th, we recognize our Light Armored Reconnaissance Marines whose job series identifier 0313 and their contribution to the warfighting efforts of the Marine Corps.

🚨 On this day, 81 years ago, February 23, 1945 U.S. Marines raised the American flag on Mount Suribachi, Iwo Jima.
Joe Rosenthal’s iconic photo captured one of the most powerful moments in American history, a symbol of courage, sacrifice, and unbreakable resolve.

Believe every student can learn at high standards—no exceptions.
When adults doubt students because of their circumstances, we lower the bar and create self‑fulfilling prophecies.
We teach math and science by modeling; why do we punish when students don’t know positive behavior?
We must teach behaviors intentionally, modeling and practicing them just as we do academic skills.
