@biden4pres Mr. President elect - please wake up everyday and think of the marginalized and poor - especially black and brown human beings - those thoughts should lead you to decisions that could change our country and the world. With humble thanks, Rev. Tim Hoekstra

What if today was a day of lament for the truth that there was never, and in many ways there still isn’t, independence for all human beings? #blacklivesmatter #nativepeople #indigenouspeople

Learn about housing policy inequality and economic policy inequality - if we develop a willingness to make significant lasting changes in the years ahead, we will need to look underneath to law and policy, etc. read to listen, learn without needing to agree with everything.

Important to understand how we got here - at least in part - understand intentional decisions by white dominant leadership. Or we keep status quo going!Read this book a couple years ago and in it again.

One of the very first things I remember African-American Pastor - The Rev. Clarence Hilliard - saying to so many of us 22 years ago as our churches started in relationship was “We need to learn from history or it is bound to repeat itself.” Listening and learning again!

Keep watch, dear Lord, with those who work, or watch, or weep this night, and give your angels charge over those who sleep. Tend the sick, Lord Christ;give rest to the weary, bless the dying, soothe the suffering, pity the afflicted, shield the joyous and all for your love’s sake
