@GlitchedDeals With the deal they had before you’d pay $99 for the battery and get the free vacuum (1 free tool) so basically they have increased the deal to include a charger
@Pricerrors Yeah but eBay take a 13 percent final value fee (~&2) and that bulky buckets gonna cost ya $9 to ship. Virtually zero profit. Maybe a slight if you manage to bundle a few.
Ford remotely shut off this brand-new Bronco on a busy expressway over ONE late payment. 😱
Guy’s out here with a new Bronco that has only 3,000 miles on it, and Ford just killed the engine while he’s in 60 mph traffic.
He’s standing on the side of the road, trucks and cars whipping past, saying he could get killed and that Ford has no idea how rough it is out here. He even wonders out loud if this is basically a scam.
Hard questions we should all be asking:
• How is it legal (or safe) for a company to remotely disable a vehicle while it’s moving on a public highway?
• What happens if this happens to someone with kids in the car, or in the middle of nowhere, or during a medical emergency?
• If you finance a car, do you really own it… or are you just renting permission to drive until they decide otherwise?
• How many other vehicles already have this kill-switch capability built in that most of us don’t even know about?
• And if they can shut it off for a missed payment, what else can they control or track without your knowledge?
This isn’t just one guy’s bad day. This is a preview of what “smart” cars can do to all of us.
What do you think—fair consequence or dangerous overreach? 🤔
In 2019 a man walked into a studio in California
and said he was from the year 2045.
He took a polygraph on camera.
Twenty questions. Not one flagged as a lie.
His answers, in order:
Time travel was invented in 1981 and kept secret for 47 years.
Aliens went public in 2028. They are not from space.
All countries merge in 2030 into seven districts.
Cash is gone. Everyone pays with a chip in their hand.
Los Angeles is underwater. Dinosaurs are back as tourist attractions.
Most UFO sightings are just future tourists whose cloaking failed.
The needle stayed flat the entire test.
The last question broke the pattern.
"Why 2019, of all years?"
He paused.
"Because I wanted to be here before December 6th.
That's the day I was born."
He came back to watch himself get born.
